Indiana’s All-Star guard broke out in the first half of Game 2, sinking five three-points, tying his playoff high in his first 15 minutes of play. Before Wednesday, he was shooting just over 30% from distance, but started the game 5-for-8 behind the arc.

Haliburton shot above 40% on threes in every season before this one, when his accuracy slumped after he rushed back from a hamstring injury. His passing has remained deadly, but when Haliburton’s awkward-looking outside shot is going in, there’s even more open space for those passes.
Can he keep it up? If he can, the Pacers go from having a great passer to a legitimate offensive superstar.
